Someone posted something on Cid and it reminded me of a funny story.

Cid's 'special' weapon in FF7 was...a mop. Not just a mop but a squeegee mop. Me and my sister both thought that was hilarious.

One day we were both in the kitchen, taking a break from the game. I stepped out in the hall and my sister was getting a brownie.

I seen our mop in the hall. It had been set out there to dry and as I looked at it, I was taken by how closely it resembled Cid's weapon... it sparked an idea.

I came charging out of the hallway with the mop, classically bounding up to my sister in a Cid-ly kind of way, taking my sister by surprise.

Unfortunately my aim was too good, and to my surprise I poked her brownie, sending it's chocolatey goodness to the floor.

The brownie went splat, and we comically stared at it in disbelief - for me the fact that I actually hit something, and for her still surprised that I charged at her with a mop.

We laughed about that one forever. She was like "I wanted to eat that!" She later admitted that the brownie didn't taste that great, but she still wanted to finish it.

So, I guess the moral of the story is 'A mop can make a decent weapon.'
