Well... the pictures are a little bigger than that but I did not want to post a file that would be difficult to download because of it's size...
They were done in Painter IX with the Grid (Specially Sephiroth), Pencil, Airbrush and Grainy Water tools.
Also to say that, just because it's digital does not mean that the pictures painted themselves...
People sent me many notes to ask if in fact Painter IX had any special feature to make them look like these.
The answer is "NO"!
To tell you the truth I use the brushes that have many in common with the Photoshop and Paint Tool Sai ones.
But I chose to use Painter IX because I could not seem to get used to Paint Tool Sai's Work Space Layout and Photoshop CS2 doesn't have that Rotate Page Tool.
BTW, my tablet is a Wacom Bamboo Fun medium size.
That's all I have to say about the media I used to paint.
The rest is just similar to the ways I use to make traditional work. (Remember the Ball Point Pen ones?)
nyaaa.... and because of pictures like this (especially if it's only a small part out of a picture) that give out feelings i love drawing and looking at art..... thank you for sharing~~~
Interesting that Vincent and Seph's lips look similar.
